We offer FREE weekly poker games in local bars around Central Florida. Join us for fun, no-stakes games where the focus is on learning and improving your skills. Player Code of Conduct

As members of Paradise Bar Poker League, we value fair play, respect, and sportsmanship. By participating, all players are expected to uphold the following standards to ensure a fun, respectful, and safe environment for everyone.

1. Fair Play
  • No Cheating: Players must refrain from any form of cheating, including but not limited to collusion, card marking, or using external devices or software to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Integrity: Players are expected to act with integrity in all aspects of the game. If a mistake is made, players should take responsibility and correct it when possible.
2. Respectful Behavior
  • Respect for Others: Treat all players, dealers, and staff with respect, both at the table and outside of the game. Harassment, verbal abuse, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • No Trash Talking: While friendly banter is encouraged, players should avoid excessive trash-talking or behavior intended to upset or intimidate others.
  • Respect the Venue: Players must respect the bar and its staff. Do not disrupt the venue, disturb other patrons, or damage property. Players may not bring outside food or drink to venues.
3. Game Etiquette
  • Be On Time: Arrive at the poker table promptly when your game is scheduled.
  • Play at Your Own Pace: Take an appropriate amount of time to make your decisions, but avoid excessive delays. Keep the game flowing to maintain a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone.
  • Stack Management: Players should keep their chips organized and within easy reach. If you need assistance, feel free to ask your dealer.
4. Behavior at the Table
  • No Anger or Intimidation: Players are not allowed to display anger, frustration, or aggressive behavior, either toward other players or in response to losing a hand.
  • No Excessive Celebrations: Be mindful of other players and avoid over-celebrating hands. Keep your reactions positive but respectful.
  • Cell Phone Use: Limit the use of cell phones or other electronic devices to prevent distractions. If you need to take a call, do so away from the table.
5. Alcohol and Substance Use
  • Moderation: Have fun and drink responsibly.
  • No Illegal Substances: The use of illegal substances or any behavior that disrupts the game is strictly prohibited.
6. Tournament Rules
  • Follow Tournament Rules: Every tournament will have specific rules, such as blind structures and timing. Players are expected to understand and abide by these rules.
  • Dispute Resolution: In case of a dispute, players should remain calm. Tournament directors or dealers will make final decisions, and players are expected to respect those decisions.
7. Sportsmanship
  • Good Winner, Good Loser: Players should maintain sportsmanship at all times, whether they win or lose. Congratulate winners, accept losses gracefully, and remember that the primary goal is fun.
  • Encourage New Players: The league thrives on having new players. Experienced players should encourage newcomers and help them feel welcome, whether they win or lose.
8. General Responsibilities
  • Follow Local Laws: Players must adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, including those relating to alcohol consumption, age restrictions, and behavior in public spaces.
  • Personal Conduct: Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the poker league, the venue, and yourself.

By participating in Paradise Bar Poker League, players agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the event or league. Let’s keep the game fun, friendly, and fair for all!
